Submission Instructions

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract for the European PhD Hydrogen Conference (EPHyC 2026), taking place from 1–3 June 2026 in Trondheim, Norway.

1. Abstract Format

Abstracts must follow the official conference template and must not exceed 3 pages (PDF format). Please use the template provided below:

2. Supervisor Approval Form

Each submission must be accompanied by a Supervisor Approval Form, confirming that the author is an active PhD student and has permission to present at EPHyC 2026.

3. Submission Process

All abstract submissions must be uploaded through the SciencesConf submission system using the menu on the left (New submission). During submission, please upload:

Abstract (PDF)
Supervisor Approval Form (PDF)

In Step 1 (Metadata – Abstract), you should include a brief abstract (up to 150 words) entered as plain text. This field is intended only for a short summary and does not support figures or formatting.

In Step 3 (File(s) – Supplementary Data), you may upload multiple files. Please upload your extended abstract as a file with the type set to Poster and use “Extended Abstract” as the description. You should then upload a second file containing the supervisor approval document, set the file type to Other, and use “Cover Letter” as the description.

4. File Naming

Please follow this naming convention:

Name_Surname_Abstract.pdf
Name_Surname_SupervisorApproval.pdf

5. Important Notes

Only active PhD researchers are eligible to submit.
Must be affiliated with a European knowledge institution (university, research centre, or equivalent).
Each abstract may have only one registered presenting author.
Submissions exceeding 3 pages will be returned for correction.
All submissions will undergo a scientific review by the EPHyC 2026 committee.
